Dear Orthopaedic Sports Medicine Fellows:
We are delighted to welcome you to the 12th International Sports Medicine Fellows Conference: Comprehensive Approaches to Articular Cartilage Repair and Hip Arthroscopy to be held in Carlsbad, California on January 27-29, 2012.
This course provides a unique opportunity for fellows to learn the latest
advancements in articular cartilage treatment and participate in the largest
gathering of 2011-2012 sports medicine fellows. The two day course includes a
variety of lectures and surgical skills workshops.
Surgical Skills workshop sessions are included in the registration fee and will
be held in two sessions: Friday, January 27 from 1:00 – 4:00 pm and Saturday
January 28 from 3:00 – 6:00 pm. Fellows will be assigned to the sessions based
on travel requirements. Space is limited. Enrollment in the Workshops is on a
first-come, first-served basis.
An optional Lecture and Workshop session will be held on Sunday, January 29 for
interested fellows. This session requires an additional registration fee of
$50.00 . The session will include lectures and cadaver demonstrations on hip
arthroscopy by expert surgeons. Please note, registration is on a first-come,
first-served basis.
This course is exceptional opportunity for fellows as it is targeted toward a
homogenous audience, the Orthopaedic Sports Medicine Fellow! The faculty will
teach toward the fellows’ potential, while giving advice aimed toward passing
the Orthopaedic Board Exam.
